Here to Listen. Ready To Serve.
My name is Jason Seto, and I am running for City Council for District 3 because I believe Pleasant Hill residents deserve safe neighborhoods, transparent government, and an active voice in the decisions that affect their daily lives. My commitment is to be an open ear for every resident.
I have been privileged to call Pleasant Hill home my entire life. I attended Sequoia Elementary School, Sequoia Middle School, College Park High School (Go Falcons!), and Diablo Valley College, where I studied history and political science before transferring to UCLA (Go Bruins!). I also grew up playing AYSO soccer, Upward basketball, PHBA baseball, Warriors lacrosse and swimming for the Pleasant Hill Aquatics Swim Team.
While at DVC, I had the honor of interning for several public offices, including County Supervisor Ken Carlson’s office in the spring of 2024. For the past two years, I’ve served on the Pleasant Hill Police Department Chief's Advisory Panel, where I have heard firsthand the public safety concerns facing our city and advocated to strengthen communication between the community and law enforcement.
These experiences inspired my passion for public service. As your Councilmember, I will work to promote public safety, fiscal responsibility, transparent government, economic growth, support for local and small businesses, and meaningful community engagement. I believe government works best when it values the voices of the people it serves. I invite you to share your concerns with me; I am here to listen and ready to serve.
Thank you, and God bless you!
I want to hear directly from the people of Pleasant Hill: their ideas, concerns, and priorities for the future of our city. A strong community starts with listening, and I am committed to making sure residents’ voices are heard.
